The Principal Solution Architect is a senior leadership role that blends hands-on delivery accountability with executive-level strategy. This role ensures solutions are not only well-designed, but successfully implemented and realized within client environments.This individual serves as a trusted advisor to clients, owning the end-to-end solution lifecycle - from pre-sales through implementation - while driving technical excellence, client value, and business outcomes.Client Leadership & Solution StrategyServe as a strategic advisor to clients, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and long-term visionLead solution design for complex, enterprise-scale engagements across multiple clients or industriesEnsure all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and technical strategyAct as the primary technical escalation point for assigned clientsPre-Sales & Solution DevelopmentLead technical pre-sales activities including discovery, solution framing, and proposal developmentOwn scoping, estimation, and cost modeling for large and complex opportunitiesReview and validate proposals for technical integrity, feasibility, risk, and alignment to standardsDeliver impactful technical presentations tailored to varying stakeholder audiencesDelivery & Implementation OversightOwn the transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring continuity and execution successProvide ongoing leadership and oversight throughout implementationEnsure solutions are scalable, optimized, and deliver measurable client valueDrive successful adoption and realization of solutions within client environmentsThought Leadership & Continuous ImprovementDevelop and share technical best practices, frameworks, and reusable assetsAct as a domain expert within assigned industries or solution areasStay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapeIdentify and drive process improvements that enhance client outcomes and profitabilityCollaboration & MentorshipPartner with internal product, engineering, and delivery teams to influence product directionMentor and guide less experienced architects and team membersFoster cross-functional alignment and promote standard methodologies and best practicesCore CompetenciesDeep expertise in enterprise solution architecture and design for complex systemsStrong understanding of identity resolution (deterministic and probabilistic matching, offline/online stitching)Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similarKnowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to large-scale data processing and analyticsExperience designing real-time data architectures and Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360)Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate technical value to non-technical stakeholdersExceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
Qualifications
