Strategy & VisionDevelop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with business goals and product roadmapsDrive cultural change towards quality ownership across all engineering teams so that quality becomes a shared effortEstablish quality metrics and KPIs that provide meaningful insights into product health and giving teams effectivenessModern quality practicesPromoting shift-left testing practices to detect defects as early as possible in the development processBuilding and evolving a sustainable test automation strategy with maximum coverage and minimum maintenanceSeamless integration of quality gates into CI/CD pipelines for fast and secure releasesLeadership & CollaborationCollaboration with engineering, product and CI leads to drive quality offensives with the organization's goals Mentoring and further development of QA engineers to promote a culture of learning and technical excellence Close collaboration with product experts to align the QA strategy with technical knowledge Collaboration with stakeholders to balanced assessment of quality, speed and risk Continuous improvement Identification of bottlenecks in the development process and implementation of solutions to improve quality and speed Observation of industry trends and evaluation of new tools and methods for possible introduction Data-based decisions about targeted investments in QA measures with maximum impactPromoting knowledge exchange and know-how transfer to increase product and user understanding within the teamYour profileSeveral years of experience in quality assurance with proven success in building and scaling QA organizationsDeep understanding of sustainable software quality: shift-left approaches, test pyramid, continuous testing, long-term automation strategiesStrong technical fundamentals and practical experience with test automation frameworks and programming (preferably Python; experience with Linux environments is a plus)Experience in implementing quality assurance practices in CI/CD environments as well as working closely with CI teamsFamiliar with agile methodologies and modern development practices (TDD, BDD, Trunk-Based Development, Feature Flags)Excellent communication skills and ability to convince at all levels of the companyStrategic thinking combined with a pragmatic and results-oriented approachFluent in English; Knowledge of German or willingness to learn the language is an advantage Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience Why us?
