Security Architect

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

: Prior and proven experience gained as a Security Architect or in a technical cyber role.Expertise in security legislation (GDPR, PCI DSS, ICO).Knowledge of frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls v8).Familiarity with HMG/NCSC policies and guidance.Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure).Understanding of microservice architectures.Proficient in PKI, cryptography, and privileged access management.Relevant certifications: SABSA, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, CISM (or working towards CIISEC/UK Cyber Security Council registration).Strong analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills. Responsibilities: Provide secure design advice from project discovery through to disposal.Ensure solutions align with security standards and architectural patterns.Promote Secure by Design principles to reduce information risk.Validate security controls and their effectiveness.Deliver security architecture for cloud deployments (private/public).Design and scope IT Health Checks and interpret outcomes.Identify and mitigate security risks in solution architectures.Conduct threat modelling and risk analysis.Design proportional security controls using native cloud technologies.Produce security architecture artefacts including standards and blueprints.
