The Role As we expand our financing proposition in Hungary, we are looking for a Credit Specialist who can engage eligible merchants, explain financing options clearly, and support them through the journey from first contact to handover and approval. This is a sales-focused, customer-facing role for someone who is confident on the phone, motivated by commercial targets, and experienced in selling business financing or loan products.
You should be comfortable understanding merchant needs, matching them to the right funding solution, and moving opportunities forward with pace and ownership. What you will do Contact eligible customers for Teya financing - Proactively contact merchants eligible for Teya financing, explain available financing options and key terms, and understand their business needs and funding
Requirements
Qualify and hand over financing leads - Assess customer interest and eligibility, collect and validate the necessary information and documentation, and hand over qualified leads to financing partners in a timely manner Support clients through the risk and approval process - Guide customers through documentation and risk checks, coordinate with internal teams and external partners when needed, and keep merchants informed throughout the application process Provide excellent customer support - Answer financing-related inquiries, manage customer expectations, escalate complex cases, and maintain accurate records in internal systems Learn, grow, and support the team - Develop expertise in financing products and processes, contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements, and support financing campaigns and other team initiatives Your story - 2+ years of proven experience in a sales role focused on financing, lending, or loan products - University degree in Finance, Economics or similar field - Confidence in speaking with customers by phone and moving commercial conversations forward - A strong sales mindset, with the ability to identify customer needs, build interest, and convert qualified opportunities - Ability to explain financial products and key conditions in a clear, simple, and credible way - Good judgement when qualifying leads and handling sensitive customer conversations - High attention to detail and discipline in keeping systems and documentation up to date - Ability to work across internal teams and external partners in a structured and responsive way - A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn fast in a growing environment - Excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English The Perks - Szép Card (gross 450.000 HUF yearly) - All You Can Move Sport Pass (XL) - Private health insurance - 3 extra mental health days yearly - Free monthly public transport passes or garage space at the office - Office snacks every day - Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in the heart of Buda - Possibility to work in an international environment with colleagues all around the world Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
