This role is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring software quality across platforms, while collaborating closely with development and cross-functional teams.This role will:Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across a variety of platformsCollaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issuesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testingReview and analyze system specifications and documentation to ensure testability and alignment with business

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze resultsIdentify, record, and track bugs and defects in the softwarePerform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolvedCreate and maintain test documentation and test reportsDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needsLiaise with internal teams to identify system

Stay up to date with new testing tools and best practicesCoordinate with geographically distributed teamsParticipate in other projects or duties as assignedWe are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field requiredThree (3) plus years of experienceProven work experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or similar roleExperience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD)Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processesExperience with mobile, API, and database testing is a plusExperience in the healthcare industry is a plusOr equivalent combination of education and/or experienceStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesStrong knowledge of software development and testing methodologiesProficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, TypeScript)Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testingStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesSalary: $81,000-$110,000Modivcare’s positions are posted and open for applications for a minimum of 5 days.
